The Masha Krupp Translation Group Ltd. (MKTG) is delighted to be the Presenting Sponsor for the Amethyst Track Challenge. Addiction is a complex issue that requires a comprehensive range of services for treatment to be effective and lasting, and Amethyst Women's Addiction Centre provides a range of these services at no cost to those who use them.

Every Canadian is affected by addiction either directly or indirectly, for example, through contact with a family member, a neighbour, or a co-worker, to name only a few. Women in particular experience additional addiction-related stigma. Social, emotional, economic and many more issues must be addressed and thus extra funding is required. This is why this fundraiser is so important to me and my staff.

This is MKTG's second year as a major sponsor for the Amethyst Women's Addiction Centre. The staff at MKTG is very charity minded and we are delighted about our long term relationship with Amethyst. Since physical fitness plays an important role in productivity, we have combined philanthropy with a team-building day for a fun fitness event in which everyone can participate.

Giving back to the city that has helped grow our business is one of MKTG's core values. MKTG staff and management are very pleased to be supporting Amethyst Women's Addiction Centre through our sponsorship of the Amethyst Track Challenge.
