Amethyst Track Challenge

Track & Field Fundraising Concept

  • Corporate teams of 5 people will compete against each other for points during a day long event held Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at Ottawa's Terry Fox Athletic Facility
  • Events will include:
    100m
    400m
    3km fun run & walk
    Long jump, regular
    Long jump, broad
    Baseball throw
    4 x 100m relay
    Tug-of-war
    50 yr CEO Challenge
  • Medals will be given out to the top 3 males and top 3 females in each event, as well as the top 3 overall team winners (awarded by points accumulated)
  • Healthy food, massage tables and entertainment will be provided throughout event

Amethyst Women's Addiction Centre is a free day treatment centre which offers bilingual addiction services to women. Amethyst's aim is to support women, individually and together, to take control of factors affecting women's health and well-being.
