In this, the 30th anniversary year of the Amethyst Women’s Addiction Centre, the agency would like to recognize the ongoing generous support of The Masha Krupp Translation Group Ltd (MKTG).
As a key sponsor of the 4th annual Amethyst golf tournament in 2007, the MKTG began a lasting and significant relationship with Amethyst and would move on to be one of the organization’s major supporters.
Amethyst benefits from the professional translation services of the MKTG (the official translator for the agency) and has had its eight-page Report to the Community document expertly translated in 2008 and 2009 pro bono.
The most significant contribution that the MKTG gives to Amethyst is the ongoing enthusiasm, dedication and support from its President and CEO, Masha Krupp, and her commitment to the success of the Amethyst Track Challenge. This major fundraising event, developed based on Ms. Krupp’s novel idea to hold a corporate track and field event, smashed Amethyst’s previous fundraising totals and helped to raise the profile of the organization in the community. Ms. Krupp, in addition to financial support, contributed many resources to the events both in 2008 and in 2009, through which a great deal of community awareness of the Centre was generated, helping to raise knowledge about addiction in the community.
The Amethyst Womens Addiction Centre is honoured to have the MKTG as a partner, and their support helps the agency continue to provide excellent services to women in the community.
